[ Summary ] |
Currently, there is no useful biomarker for the diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. Recently, various biomolecules have been investigated for their potential as biomarkers for pancreatic cancer : circulating tumor DNA, micro RNA, exosomes, proteomes, and metabolomes. Although these potential biomarkers need to be further validated, it is expected that accurate biomarkers will be available in the near future, especially for the early detection of pancreatic cancer and distinguishing pancreatic cancer from benign diseases. |
