Japan Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society made "early stage gastric cancer ESD/EMR guidelines" as the basic guidelines made by a scientific method newly in the present state to which endoscopic treatment to gastric cancer is showing a rapid spread. The guidelines describe the indications, preoperative diagnosis, procedures, curability, complications, long‒term prognosis and histological evaluation associated with early‒stage gastric cancer. The evidence level for many parameters is low in this field ; therefore it is necessary to determine the recommendation degree based on a large consensus with the hope to create the evidence. |
