【要旨】	機能性ディスペプシア（FD）は，2013年に保険病名として収載され，この病名を効能・効果にもつアコチアミドが使用可能となった．一方で，本邦における FD診療の現状は，必ずしも欧米と同じではなく，医療機関への受診が容易で，H. pylori感染への意識が高く，多くの消化管運動機能改善薬や漢方薬の使用が可能であるといった特徴がある．2014年4月にGRADE（Grading of Recommendations，Assessment，Development and Evaluation）システムを用いた本邦の現状に即した「機能性消化管疾患診療ガイドライン 2014―機能性ディスペプシア（FD）」が上梓され，このガイドライン作成によりこれまであまり注目されてこなかった機能性消化管疾患に対する認識が高まり，病態解明が進むことが望まれている．

[ Summary ]	Fundctional dyspepsia (FD) was defined in the Japanese insurance system in 2013 and acotiamide was indicated as first-line treatment. The situation of medical care for FD in Japan is not same as in other western countries ; patients can easily visit medical institutes under the cover of the insurance system in Japan, and the awareness of Helicobacter pylori is high. Furthermore, many prokinetics and Kampo medicines can be used under the medical insurance system. Using, the "Grading of Recommendations, Assessment, Development and Evaluation (GRADE)" system, "The guideline of functional gastrointestinal disorders 2014 -- functional dyspepsia" was published in April 2014 in Japan. The recognition of functional gastrointestinal disorders and the elucidation of the pathophysiology of FD should progress with the publication of these guidelines.
