[ Summary ] |
An adequate partial gastrectomy using a minimally invasive technique can be performed for treatment of submucosal gastric tumors by classical LECS (laparoscopy and endoscopy cooperative surgery). There remains an unresolved problem of the potential risk of intraabdominal dissemination in Classical LECS because of exposure of tumor surface and leakage of gastric juice into the abdominal cavity. We describe here our notable method named closed LECS expanded upon classical LECS to prevent intraabdominal dissemination. |
