| 【 要旨 】 | 近年，医療行為に対する質の管理が，世界的に重要視されている．また，実地の内視鏡診療での教育効果をできるだけ客観的に評価する方法も非常に重要である．本稿では，当院における外科レジデントの大腸内視鏡教育におけるデータを中心に，内視鏡データベースを用いた大腸内視鏡教育の方法と内視鏡検査における質の管理について述べた．大腸内視鏡の達成度の評価のパラメーターとしては，回盲部到達時間・回盲部到達率・病変発見率などがあるが，どれも，内視鏡データベースより算出が可能である．内視鏡データベースの有効活用は，レジデントのより客観的な達成度の評価を補助するのみならず，内視鏡室全体の質の管理にも貢献する可能性が示唆された． | |

| [ Summary ] | Quality control in medical practice is increasingly emphasized world wide. Objective evaluation of endoscopic education is very important. Education concerning colonoscopy, using endoscopic databases, in our medical center and quality control of endoscopy are presented. Cecal intubation rates, cecal intubation time and polyp detection rates obtained from endoscopic databases can provide valid parameters to evaluate the efficacy of education for colonoscopy by surgical residents as well as to assess the quality of colonoscopy. Proper utilization of endoscopic databases has the potential to aid the evaluation of endoscopic competency more objectively, and to contribute to evaluations of quality control in endoscopy units. |
