Although EMR/ESD in the stomach and duodenum is minimally invasive, serious complications occur in some cases. In order to perform safe treatment, preoperative assessment of risk factors is indispensable. Appropriate sedation and maintenance of the overall condition of patients through monitoring during treatment is required. Close follow-ups for complication is also essential after treatment. |
