[ Summary ] |
Recently, EUS-guided biliary drainage for obstructive jaundice has been developed as an alternative to endoscopic transpapillary or percutaneous biliary drainage. Although several reports have showen it to be an effective and safe treatment for obstructive jaundice, they were done retrospectively with small sample sizes. Therefore, EUS-guided biliary drainage should be reserved for endoscopists at tertiary care centers with advanced training in EUS. |
