| [ Summary ] |
A committee of the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology was established to prepare the JPN Guideline for the Management of Chronic Pancreatitis in 2006. Evidence-based classification methods were implemented in the process of preparing the guideline. The guideline consists of 60 items related to clinical questions concerning overall diagnosis, severity assessment, management strategies and prognosis for chronic pancreatitis. Now, the guideline is in its final draft, pre-publication form. |
