New developments in ER (endoscopic resection) techniques to dissect the submucosa directly, termed ESD, allow the resection of larger lesions in en-bloc. ESD is widely accepted in Japan. It is very difficult to master this technique. Therefore, we described techniques used master ESD at the National Cancer Center Hospital. |
