【 要旨 】 EBMの手法に基づいて策定された胃潰瘍診療ガイドラインのアウトラインを，視覚化しフローチャートとしてまとめた．これは，個別の診療上の問題点に対する診療勧告相互の関係や優先順位を明らかにし，個別の治療指針を胃潰瘍診療全体の流れに沿って位置づけることを目的としている．本稿では，班の全体会議で討議を行い作成されたフローチャートに沿って，潰瘍診療の流れを概説した．

[ Summary ] Japanese guideline for gastric ulcer treatment was published for general use in 2003. This guideline was generated by the tremendous efforts of specialists in peptic ulcer research, whose work was been supported with a two year grant from the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare. In this article, the outline of this guideline is visualized with a flowchart to facilitate understanding of the therapeutic stream for gastric ulcer treatment.
