| 【 要旨 】 | わが国の医療現場において，根拠に基づく医療 (EBM) を推進していくためには，最新の臨床研究成果を医師などが容易に参照できる道具立てが必要との認識から，1999年度以降，疾患ごとの診療ガイドライン作成が行われてきた． 国においては，その作成や，蓄積された成果を体系的に臨床医や国民向けに情報提供する取り組みの基盤整備に助成してきている． わが国における診療ガイドライン作成をめぐる経験の蓄積は，今後の実地診療，患者・国民の医療への参画，臨床研究のあり方などを考えていくうえで重要な知的資源であり，今後，開かれた議論の積み重ねにより診療ガイドラインが普及し，医療向上のため適切に活用されていくことが望まれる． |

| [ Summary ] | Efforts have been made since 1999 in Japan to develop clinical guidelines for a certain number of diseases by experts in respective areas, based on the concept of Evidence-Based Medicine, with funding support from the health ministry's research fund. With the intellectual achievements of these efforts, a web-based information service is being prepared by a non-profit foundation to provide medical doctors and patients with qualified and updated information on standard medical practices for diseases covered by the abovementioned guidelines. Further discussion should be conducted among concerned parties, not only within the medical community but also with patients, regarding the nature of clinical guidelines, their development, proper use and distribution. It is hoped that sound and open discussion on clinical guidelines will pave the way for improved medical care. | |
