"The Gastric Cancer Treatment Guidelines" published by The Japanese Gastric Cancer Society is considered to be the most authoritative general guideline laid out by the most authorized committee on this disease. It is highly possible that these standard, laid out in the guideline, may be usable in court cases. It may be used as the most evident proof in court, to judge both of quality of the medical treatment and of informed consent.
