| 【 要旨 】 | クリティカルパス発達の背景として，医療の質をめぐる国際的動向を分析した．クリティカルパスそのものは，1980年代前半米国での診療報酬支払方式として前払定額のDRGが導入されたことがきっかけとなり，産業界で効率化のために使われていたクリティカルパスを医療界に応用したのがはじまりである．しかしその後，1980年代後半の医療の第三次革命である結果マネジメント(outcome management)運動を経て1990年代後半再び，患者安全(patient safety)の関心の高まりの中で重要性が増している．今後は疾病管理(disease management)の手法の一部として地域へと拡がることが想定される． | |
