[ Summary ] |
We established two diagnostic standards for differential diagnosis between hyperplasia and adenomial carcinoma (I) and developmental diagnosis for carcinoma (II) in IPMT. We plan to observe the progress of IPMT using diagnostic standards (I) and (II) to determine correct surgery time. Changes of thickness and mosaic patterns of cyst walls are very important signs when we suspect invasive carcinoma of the IPMT type. A type of IPMT rapidly advances and changes into an invasive tumor. Therefore, we should carefully follow up on IPMT every six months for two years. |
