[ Summary ] |
In severe acute pancreatitis, organ damage and dysfunction occur in and around the pancreas and in organs far from the pancreas. The latter organ failures relate to the severity and prognosis of the disease. Pathogenese of the severe acute pancreatitis is reviewed from the aspects of clinical pictures, patho physiology, and treatment. |
