| 【 要旨 】 | 肛門における三大疾患のうち，痔核・裂肛について，病態・分類・診断・治療・手術適応など，最近の知見を含めて述べた． 肛門疾患の診療においては臨床症状と臨床所見を正確に把握することが不可欠であり，問診・視診・指診・肛門鏡診を総合して正しく診断し，治療に当たる必要がある．一方，肛門疾患における症状は，大腸癌をはじめとした大腸疾患における症状と類似しているため，大腸疾患を見逃さないようにしなければならない．少しでも大腸疾患の存在が疑われたならば積極的に大腸検査を行うようにする． |

| [ Summary ] | This paper presents the current concept for treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures concerning pathogenesis, classification, diagnostic procedures and operative indications. In the treatment of anal diseases, it is necessary to understand the clinical symptoms and other signs of these diseases. This may be done by using the accurate medical histories and thorough examination of the rectum, including the use of an anorectal scope. Since the symptoms of anal diseases are similar to those of colorectal diseases, we must be careful not to mis-diagnose colorectal diseases, especially cancer, because of confusion with anal disorders. If the symptoms of the patient suggest the possibility of colorectal diseases, additional examinations, such as colonofiber scopy, must be performed. |
