| 【 要旨 】 | 経皮経肝的にステントの留置を行った130例を対象に大口径チューブステントとメタリックステント(EMS)の成績を比較検討した.また,メタリックステントでは種類別の開存率を検討した.チューブステントとEMSで開存率,家庭復帰率に差はみられなかった.またEMSの比較においてもWallstent,Memotherm,NT stentに開存率の差はみられなかった.EMSではその性状を把握し,使用することが必要であった. | |

| [ Summary ] | 130 patients with obstructive jaundice were studied. All had unresectable tumors. 61 patients were treated with large bore tube stents and 69 were treated with metallic stents. Significant differences were not recognized in survival rates, or cumulative patency rates. Large bore tube stents could be removed when clogged, but expandable metallic stents could not. Expandable metallic stents were easily inserted compared to large bore tube stents. Any stent has both good and bad points, so a suitable stent for each patient must be selected. | |
