【 要旨 】 腹腔鏡下手術は，良性疾患だけでなく，肝癌や各種の早期消化器癌などの悪性疾患に対しても適用されている．それに伴い，腫瘍の検索,解剖の把握のために腹腔鏡下手術における術中超音波検査の必要性が増加している．当科の専門領域でみると，胆石症における遺残結石の検索，総胆管の走行確認，早期胃癌，胃粘膜下腫瘍，肝癌(肝腫瘍)，副腎腫瘍の同定などに関して重要な役割を果たしていた．

[ Summary ] Laparoscopic surgery is applied not only to benign diseases like choledocholithiasis but also to malignant diseases like early gastric cancer, colon cancer, and liver cancer. The necessity of intraoperative ultrasonography is now increasing for detection of tumor (cancer or submucosal tumors of stomach, liver tumors, adrenal tumors etc.) and gall stones.
