【 要旨 】 胃の炎症性細胞の浸潤にmast cellやmacrophageが重要な役割をもつことが明らかにされつつある．また，これらの細胞に由来する種々のメディエーターやNOが胃の炎症に伴う微小循環障害や発癌などのプロセスに関与している可能性がある．

[ Summary ] This paper reviews the roles of mast cells and macrophages in gastric inflammation. Although the precise mechanisms are still unclear, both cells produce quantities of cytokines, arachidonates and oxyradicals and participates in infiltration of inflammatory cells in the stomach, induced by various stimuli including H.pylori.
