| 【 要旨 】 | プロトンポンプ阻害薬(PPI)は，現在使用しうるもっとも強力な酸分泌抑制薬である．本稿では，PPIの臨床的有用性につき，用法，用量，増量投与，長期投与，間欠投与などの効果，NSAID胃粘膜傷害に対する効果，PPI使用上の注意点などに話題を分けて，それぞれ比較対照試験の成績のみを基礎として，証拠に基づいて考察した． | |

| [ Summary ] | Proton pump inhibitors (PPI) are the mdst potent inhibitor of gastric acid secretion available. In this paper, from the point of evidence based medicine, the authors discussed the clinical usefulness of PPI, using only the results based on well controlled clinical trials, which dealt its usage, increase dose therapy, long term treatment, intermittent therapy, effect on NSAID induced mucosal damage and warning in its use. | |
