| 【 要旨 】 | 超高齢社会を迎え，腎代替療法の在り方の見直しが必要となる．いうまでもなく在宅血液透析は医療的価値が高い腎代替療法であるが，現時点での普及率は低く，ごく限られた患者層で実践されているにすぎない．しかし，今後の経済的・人的資源が限られる腎代替医療において推奨される在宅医療の一つである．超高齢社会の中で在宅血液透析をより普及させるためには，高齢者が享受するための装置の開発，社会の仕組み，在宅血液透析の要件の見直しなどが必要である． | |

| [ Summary ] | In the coming aged society, renal replacement therapy (RRT) should be shifted to home therapy, accounting for the shortages in medical budget and manpower. Home hemodialysis (HHD) is warranted because of its high medical quality and economic advantage. In order for HHD to be widely accepted in the aged society, development of more simplified machines suitable for elderly people, transformation in the social structure for the medical care of elderly RRT patients, and mitigation of the guideline restrictions for HHD should be discussed. | |
