【 要旨 】 日本透析医学会と日本医療機器テクノロジー協会（旧称：日本医療器材工業会）は合同で協議し透析支援システムと透析装置の通信共通化を進めてきた．考案した通信共通プロトコルはVer. 1.0, Ver. 2.0, Ver. 3.0と使い勝手は進化してきた．しかし，現在の透析医療はVer. 3.0を考案した当時に比べ，透析装置が進歩し治療環境が大きく変化した．具体的には，透析装置の自動化やモニタリング機能の進歩，オンラインHDFの普及，循環動態の安定した透析治療の実施，などが挙げられる．そこで，現状の透析医療環境に鑑みてVer. 3.0の改良点や問題点を整理し，今後，必要と思われる項目について検討した．新たなVer. 4.0構築をめざし，各社システムにおける通信方法および透析装置の違いに対する再検討が必要である．これらについて協議した結果，Ver. 4.0の仕様がほぼ固まり，概要的には透析装置からの送信項目は32項目から60項目へと，透析装置の受信項目は13項目から34項目へと増加した．Ver. 4.0の仕様充実により，さらに安全で効率的な透析治療が可能と考える．
Theme Advance and evolution of information technology in dialysis therapy
Title Development of common communication protocols connecting dialysis fluid supply machines and central computer systems

[ Summary ] The Japanese Society for Dialysis Therapy and the Medical Technology Association of Japan have jointly discussed issues concerning communication protocols between dialysis fluid supply machines and central computer systems. The common communication protocols devised as ver. 1.0, ver. 2.0, and ver. 3.0 have adaptively evolved. Ver. 3.0 has greatly changed the dialysis field in relation to progress in treatment environments. The most concrete environmental change is progress in dialysis machines for on-line and off-line HDF therapies. Therefore, we decided that those problems were suitable for study in the present dialysis field. In ver. 4.0, we examined requirements for the future. We examined the compatibility between communication methods and the basic construction of dialysis machines by different manufacturers. As a result of discussions, we have developed a plan for formulating ver. 4.0. Specifically, the transmission of data from dialysis machines should increased to be 60 elements, including 34 elements for detection by dialysis machines. Specific improvements in ver. 4.0 will make dialysis treatment safer and more appropriate.
