【 要旨 】 膜表面構造と蛋白親和性の関係を調べることは生体適合性を評価するうえで有用となりうる.近年,ナノレベルでの材料表面解析技術の発展が著しく,従来では均一に見えた表面でも,ナノレベルで見てみると不均一であり,それが膜の生体適合性に影響している可能性が示唆される.今後の高性能・高機能透析膜の設計・開発において,透析膜表面をナノレベルで制御することが重要と考えられる.

[ Summary ] Examination of the relationship between membrane surface structures and protein affinity is necessary to evaluate biocompatibility. Recently, material surface analysis technology operating at nanoscale level has significantly improved. As a result, it has been revealed that uniform surfaces determined with conventional methods are incorrect when determined with nanoscale evaluation. It is possible that nanoscale irregularities may affect the biocompatibility of membranes. Nanoscale control is important to design and develop dialysis membranes which will deliver high performance and high functionality.
