【 要旨 】 慢性透析患者のC型肝炎ウイルス（HCV）新規感染率および有病率は，非常に高率である．HCV感染が慢性透析患者や腎移植患者の予後に影響を与えることが報告されており，透析中のC型慢性肝炎患者でもインターフェロン（IFN）治療の必要がある．従来型のIFN製剤とペグインターフェロン（PEG―IFN）単独療法では，PEG―IFN単独療法のSVRが高く，副作用が少なく，中断も少ないことが報告されている．透析患者へのリバビリン使用は禁忌であり，治療の第一選択はPEG―IFN単独療法となる．

[ Summary ] Chronic hepatitis C viral infections are commonin hemodialysis patients. Hemodialysis patients and kidney transplant recipients with HCV infection have poor survival rates. We recommend that peginterferon monotherpy be used for hemodialysis patients with chronic hepatitis C infections.
