【 要旨 】 血液透析医療施設における肝炎ウイルス感染のリスクは，一般健常者集団より高いことが明らかになっている．血液透析医療施設における肝炎ウイルスの感染防止対策として，「血液による汚染が起こる可能性のあるすべての感染経路を遮断すること」が基本となる．具体的には，「透析室環境，設備の見直しと改善」と「スタッフへの教育，訓練の実施」である．とくに，透析医療の現場では，感染防止対策が軌道に乗った後にも，新たなスタッフを透析現場の業務に参加させる前には，必ず感染予防のための教育，訓練を施すこと，さらに，すべての医療スタッフに対しても，定期的に繰り返して行うことが肝要である．

[ Summary ] It is clear that the risk of viral hepatitis infections in patients in hemodialysis facilities is higher than that in the general population. Blocking the routes of infection through blood born transmission is the most important factor in preventing the viral hepatitis infections in hemodialysis facilities. It is important we improve the environment of dialysis facilities and fully educate staff members, especially new staff members.
