| 【 要旨 】 | 厳しい医療情勢の中で選ばれる透析施設になるためには，無駄のない設備の充実が欠かせない．患者の求めているのは，安全で良質な透析を快適な透析室で受けることである．長時間の拘束を強いられる透析療法にあっては，快適な環境の提供が他の医療機関以上に求められている．快適さは，広さ，清潔さ，良質な空調などによってもたらされる．さらに視聴覚機器などによる時間を短く感じるための工夫も必要である．また，患者のプライベートな相談を扱えるスペースを確保することも大切である．ハード面の充実に加えてソフト面での充実をはかるためには，スタッフの快適性への配慮も求められる． | |

Dialysis patients require safe, high quality dialysis in a comfortable dialysis room. In the dialysis room, the need for a comfortable environment is required more so than in other medical institutions, because long term stays are not avoidable in dialysis therapy. A comfortable environment should be provided with sufficient treatment areas, cleanness, high quality air conditioners, etc. Reducing the discomfort of long term confinement with audio-visual equipment, etc. is also necessary. It is also important to provide space where patient's private consultations can be performed.
