[ Summary ] |
Colorectal ESD has been adopted with the development of various techniques. Starting in April 2012, the cost of colorectal ESD has been covered by national health insurance in Japan. The essential rationale for colorectal ESD procedures is to provide clear views which make it possible to maintain control straight instruments with effective tip control. The use of a modified singleballoon overtube can improve access to the lesion and facilitate endoscope maneuverability. We describe our methods for using modified single-balloon overtubes for colorectal ESD. Our techniques may help to overcome difficulties with colorectal ESD. |
