【 要旨 】 近年，小腸内視鏡はカプセル内視鏡およびダブルバルーン内視鏡の出現によりめざましく進歩した．とくにダブルバルーン内視鏡の開発により，これまで困難であった深部小腸の内視鏡治療が比較的容易に行えるようになった．本稿ではまず小腸ポリープおよびPeutz-Jeghers 症候群の概説後，われわれが経験したPeutz-Jeghers 症候群の症例を呈示し，内視鏡治療やフォローアップ，その有用性および偶発症について報告する．

[ Summary ] Double balloon endoscopy and video capsule endoscopy have enabled not only endoscopic observation of the small intestine but also tissue sampling and interventional therapies. We describe the usefulness of double balloon endoscopy and video capsule endoscopy for diagnosis and treatment of Peutz-Jeghers polyps.
