[ Summary ] |
The supplementation therapy with branched‒chain amino acid (BCAA) granules improves the prognosis of cirrhotic patients with increased serum albumin levels. BCAA therapy may prevent hepatocarcinogenesis in patients with cirrhosis. It also improves the prognosis of patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), partly by ameliorating liver dysfunction or maintaining liver function and partly by preventing HCC recurrence. |
