The development of high-throughput human genome sequencing technology has made large-scale human disease genome analysis possible. Genome-wide association studies have identified a number of genetic variants associated with risk of chronic kidney disease, as well as kidney function biomarkers. Bioinformatics analysis handling and associated genetic variants have been recognized as tools for novel genomic drug developments. |
