[ Summary ] |
Blood volume monitoring (BVM) systems are machine to monitor changes in blood volume during blood purification therapy. They are very effective to prevent rapid declines in blood pressure during hemodialysis. Since BVM indicates relative changes in blood volume making settings in relation to initial conditions affects the results. The existence of vascular access recirculation and blood coagulation in the circuit disturb the monitor of BVM. BVM makes control of water balance easy for hemodialysis patient treatment. |
