[ Summary ] |
The measurement of fecal lactoferrin levels for colorectal cancer screening was seen to be superior to fecal occult blood tests (FOBT), in terms of the detection of early cancer and cancer in the right side of the colon. In order to improve the sensitivity and specifity of screening tests for colorectal cancer, the simultaneous measurement of fecal lactofernn and hemoglobin was thought to be useful. |
