[ Summary ] |
Colon capsule endoscopy (CCE) for ulcerative colitis (UC) should be used as a monitoring tool to confirm the severity and extent of inflammation. Recently, the utility of a preparation using castor oil in conjunction with CCE for colonic polyps has been reported. Preparations using high concentrations of polyethylene glycol solutions along with ascorbic acid and castor oil for UC have also been reported. Simplicity and high total colon observation rates have been reported with these methods. |
