【 要旨 】 近年，潰瘍性大腸炎の治療目標として内視鏡的寛解より組織学的寛解が重要とされてきている．新しく開発された超拡大内視鏡は，生体内において細胞レベルの観察が可能となってきている．超拡大内視鏡である“Endocyto”による潰瘍性大腸炎の炎症評価の有用性について，いくつかの報告がすでになされている．本稿では，さらに当施設で研究を行っている“Endocyto”NBIを用いた人工知能による自動診断システムについても概説する．

[ Summary ] Recently, it has been suggested that histological remission is more important than endoscopic remission as a treatment goal in ulcerative colitis. A novel form of ultra-magnifying endoscopy enables us to observe lesions at the cellular level in vivo. A number of reports have described the efficacy of Endocytoscopy in treatment of ulcerative colitis. We reported on a new CAD system for producing histological remission in UC cases, with the use of EC combined with NBI.
