| [ Summary ] |
Recently, it has been suggested that histological remission is more important than endoscopic remission as a treatment goal in ulcerative colitis. A novel form of ultra-magnifying endoscopy enables us to observe lesions at the cellular level in vivo. A number of reports have described the efficacy of Endocytoscopy in treatment of ulcerative colitis. We reported on a new CAD system for producing histological remission in UC cases, with the use of EC combined with NBI. |
