[ Summary ] |
The natural history of colorectal cancer is largely unknown. Data demonstrated that the incidence of submucosal invasion of depressed type cancers (0-IIc, IIa + IIc) is significantly higher than that of protruded type cancers (0-Is, Isp, Ip). It is clinically important to distinguish the macroscopic type through the classification of development and progression of colorectal lesions when endoscopic findings are described. |
