【 要旨 】 カプセル内視鏡とバルーン内視鏡は小腸疾患の診断・治療で大きな役割を担うようになった．2015年に作成された本邦の「小腸内視鏡診療ガイドライン」では，カプセル内視鏡とバルーン内視鏡の原理と有効性，安全性に関して解説し，原因不明の消化管出血や，小腸狭窄，小腸腫瘍，ポリポーシス，その他の小腸疾患に対する小腸内視鏡の運用について述べられている．本稿では「小腸内視鏡診療ガイドライン」の要点を解説しつつ，当施設での運用方法や，ガイドライン作成後に登場した人工知能やmotorized spiral enteroscopy などの最新の話題に関して紹介する．

Title Endoscopic Diagnosis and Treatment Based on the Japanese Clinical Practice Guidelines for Enteroscopy

[ Summary ] Capsule endoscopy and balloon‒assisted enteroscopy play a major role in the diagnosis and treatment of small intestinal diseases. In 2015, the Japanese Gastroenterological Endoscopy Society (JGES) developed the "Clinical Practice Guidelines for Enteroscopy". These guidelines describe the principle, efficacy, and safety of capsule endoscopy and balloon‒assisted enteroscopy. They also describe the enteroscopy procedure for obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, small intestinal strictures, tumors, polyposis, and other small intestinal diseases. In this section, in addition to focusing on the important features of these guidelines, we will introduce our strategy in clinical practice and the latest topics after the development of these guidelines, such as artificial intelligence and motorized spiral enteroscopy.
