【 要旨 】 中性脂肪の蓄積はC型肝炎，ASH，NASH，インスリン抵抗性などさまざまな疾患の増悪因子として注目されつつある．肝臓疾患における中性脂肪蓄積の分子機構を理解することは，治療および予防のための重要な示唆をもたらす可能性がある．肝臓における中性脂肪のホメオスタシス調節機構は介在因子数が多いため難解である．本稿では，ホメオスタシス調節機構に直接かかわる重要蛋白の機能および発現調節を解説するとともに，それらを統括的に制御している主要な核内蛋白の役割と特徴について平易に紹介する．

[ Summary ] Recently, triglyceride accumulations in the liver have come to be considered capable of causing hepatic diseases such as hepatocellular carcinoma through HCV infection, ASH, NASH and other conditions. To understand the molecular mechanisms associated with hepatic triglyceride accumulation it is important to develop therapeutic and preventive treatments. The functions of and expressional regulation of important proteins directly involving in triglyceride homeostasis, as well as roles and characteristics of major nuclear proteins controlling the above mentioned proteins are discussed.
