[ Summary ] |
Subdivisions of the type V pit pattern were consolidated at the Hakone Pit Pattern Symposium, in April, 2004. It was determined that the type VN pit pattern showed only the area of apparent nonstructure. Therefore, the classification of pit patterns became easy to understand by abecedarian and foreigners. With a classification based on the Hakone consensus, the lesions, which showed new type VN pit patterns were considered to be sm massive cancers. The VI (high grade) type was defined as destroyed and desert pits and became one of the indexes of sm massive cancers. |
