[ Summary ] |
Primary gastric lymphomas were composed of two different types, i.e. MALT lymphoma and non-MALT lymphomas. The results of our prospective study on exclusively low dose radiation for MALT lymphoma, resistant to H. pylori eradication therapy were satisfactory. On the other hand, non-MALT lymphomas were treated with a combination of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. The overall 5-year survival rate was over 90 %, which was also satisfactory. Side effects and complications were minimal. |
