[ Summary ] |
Endoscopic ultrasonography (EUS) enables us to produce precise images of pancreatic lesions. This is especially so with small pancreatic lesions which can be detected more clearly than with other imaging tests such as MD-CT or MRI. Current roles of EUS for early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer are noted, as well as the current and future status of EUS-guided fine needle aspiration biopsy (EUS-FNA). |
