[ Summary ] |
We examined the relationship of the Hemoglobin index (IHb) in relation to the gastric mucosa and the degree of mononuclear cell infiltration, mucosal atrophy, intramucosal bleeding, vessel numbers and vessel diameter. IHb was significantly higher, associated with the progression of mononuclear cell infiltration and intramucosal bleeding, and not with number of vessels or vessel diameter. Therefore, IHb was as sociated with intramucosal congestion without vessel density. |
