| [ Summary ] | The instruments used in endoscopic ultrasonography are the ultrasonic endoscope and the catheter type probe. Ultrasonic endoscope has two kinds of instruments divided into those used for mechanical scanning methods and those used for electrical scanning methods. In this chapter, the structure of each instrument is described briefly, and the images from each instrument are shown. It is highly recommended that physicians to know the structure of the each instrument, before clinical usage. |
