Ulcerative colitis is treated with medication, change of life style, surgery, etc.. However, no specific therapy is recognized as being useful for all problems derived from ulcerative colitis. In fact, combinations of these therapies are useful. When the therapeutic schedule is planned for individuals, we must keep in mind that quality of life(QOL) is of the utmost importance for patients. |
