[ Summary ] |
Most female dialysis patients have menstrual disorders and atypical genital bleeding or amenorrhea. These disorders may be due primarily to hyperprolactinemia, leading to ovarian dysfunction and menstrual cycle irregularities. Menstrual disorders and atypical genital bleeding or amenorrhea are discussed. Appropriate hormone therapies for these patients are proposed. |
