[ Summary ] |
It is widely accepted that women with renal disease most often have a successful and uneventful outcome of pregnancy if the patients maintain normal or near-normal renal function. Women with impaired renal function are usually to have normal outcome from their pregnancies if their blood pressure is well controlled and they show under nephrotic range of proteinuria. To obtain a successful outcome to their pregnancy, it is necessary to understand the physiological changes related to hemodynamics in pregnancy and to make appropriate arrangements for them, even in conditions with impaired renal function. |
