| [ Summary ] |
We assessed the characteristics of the EC-450ZW magnifying videocolonoscope manufactured by the Fujinon-Toshiba Endoscope System Corporation. The EC-450ZW is an electronic optical magnifying videocolonoscope, which is able to achieve 100 x optical magnification, while incorporating a high capacity CCD with 410,000 pixel capability. The EC-450ZW is an advanced type of the EC-450ZH, and is highly efficient. The view angle of the EC-450ZW is 140 degrees (EC-450ZH: 120 degrees) and, thereby, ordinary observation with the EC-450ZW has also improved. Magnifying observation can be done with a one-touch motion of the zoom lever on the left thumb activated control. |
