[ Summary ] |
We can use endoscopy to determine the presence of colorectal tumors. Furthermore, using magnifying chromoendoscopy makes it possible for us to improve the precision of qualitative diagnosis of tumors, including depth of cancer invasion. In addition to pit pattern classification (Kudo & Tsuruta), we use sub-classification of type II, III and IV pit patterns by observing colorectal tumors in detail. When we utilize pit pattern classification for endoscopic diagnosis, we believe it is important to not apply any pit patterns we observe to pit pattern classification but employ image histopathological images. |
