[ Summary ] |
Recent developments in medical technology have changed the diagnostic and therapeutic algorithms for small-bowel disease including small-bowel tumors. Capsule endoscopy and balloon-assisted endoscopy as well as technologies for image related diagnosis such as CTs have been greatly improved. To achieve effective diagnosis, the characteristics of each modality including both their advantages and disadvantages should be well understood and used properly. |
