[ Summary ] |
CT plays a role in the detection of and differentiation between benign and malignant gallbladder tumors. Furthermore, if the tumor is gallbladder cancer, CT plays a role in deciding the treatment strategy based on the tumor stage and distant metastasis. In a diseased gallbladder, because a merger of gallbladder cancer is reported even if it is benign disease, except the patients who are contraindicated to contrast media, dynamic study is necessary. Understanding CT findings is important to differentiate between gallbladder cancer and the disease that needs to be differentiated from gallbladder to ensure appropriate treatment is provided. |
